Winter: Days during this unpredictable season can be sunny and in the 70s
or snowy with highs in the 20s. In the low elevations, snows of one inch or more
may take place one to five times per season with significant buildup in the high
country. The chart below shows our average seasonal temperatures on a monthly
basis.
Spring: During March we experience the most variable weather patterns.
It can snow or rain on any day, especially at higher elevations. During the month
of April, the weather becomes milder, with daytime temperatures ranging from the
70s to low 40s at night. Temperatures during May can climb into the 80s or dip
into the 30s.
Summer: By the middle of June, heat, haze and humidity are the norm. Normal
temperatures are in the upper 80s during the day and 50s at night.
Fall: September generally brings a pattern of warm, sunny days and crisp,
clear nights. However, cool rainy days do crop up, as well. Dustings of snow may
fall in the higher elevations during the month of November.
