Obtaining
your Tennessee marriage license at the County Clerk's Marriage License Center
is effortless. Applicants do not have to be residents of Sevier County to get
married and there is never a waiting period or a required blood test.
Requirements:
Both applicants must be in attendance to receive the license.
Proof of age, either by a valid driver's license, a valid passport or certified
birth certificate, is required.
You can bring a valid Tennessee marriage license from anywhere in the state of
Tennessee.
Note: Licenses are only valid for 30 days after their issue.
If you have been married before, you will also need the month and year of your
divorce, or the date of your deceased spouse's death.
If either of the applicants are under the age of 18, parents or legal guardians
must also sign the marriage certificate.
The County Clerk only accepts cash in the exact amount.
Total cost: $36.00
